Unfortunately my grandma had been scammed out of $500 about 3 weeks ago while I was at work. I went over there as soon as she called me asking to come over there because there was "amazon hackers" and they tried getting money from her account. She sent them a target gift card and when I found all of this out it was too late to get her money back. I felt so bad for her since she was on disability and couldn't work due to 2nd and 3rd degree burns on her legs. I hope there is a way soon that people will be able to stop hackers like this preying on older people.

Mark, I would just like to say Thank You for your hard work on the phone scammer project. I am a 66 yr old retired and disabled factory worker that has been exposed to several scammers. These scammers are absolutely relentless! I totally agree with your advice to make sure that everyone knows about these scammers. Thanks again for your hard work and diligence.
